Co-axial mounting and a patented progressive linkage gives the thumb full rotation: the ability to follow the entire bucket path during rotation. The patented full-rotation linkage provides full gripping force even at the full extension of the thumb and bucket, making this the perfect combination for building rock walls, loading material in high-sided trucks, pulling and sorting material out of large piles.
Any excavator is enhanced by the addtion of a full rotation thumb. The ability to handle loose material is invaluable for construction, light demolition, site clearing, landscaping, loading and material jobs. When not needed, the thumb fold out of the way for unimpeded use of the bucket.
Full rotation thumbs are modular, providing the flexibility and convenience of swappable toolbars. One thumb body can mount any toolbar, allowing it to mesh with any standard Cat bucket.
